How to ask us to delete your data, what is removed and what the law requires us to keep.

Asking us to delete your data
You can ask Shri Ramdas Vyayam Mandir to delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. To do it, email us at ramdasgymnasium@gmail.com, or call 9819795920 with the subject "Delete my data", or ask at the front desk.
Please include your full name and the mobile number registered with us, so we can find the right record. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we delete anything.
What we delete
Once we accept the request, we remove:
- your name, mobile number, email, address, date of birth, gender and photograph;
- your emergency contact and any health notes;
- your attendance history and the fingerprint or card reference held against your record — the biometric template on the entry device is deleted from the device too;
- your enquiry and follow-up notes;
- the message history we hold for you.
What we must keep, and why
Indian tax law requires us to keep invoices, receipts and payment records for eight years. Those records stay, and they contain your name and the amounts paid. We keep nothing else about you.
If you owe money at the time of the request, we keep the record of that debt until it is settled.
How long it takes
We complete deletion within 30 days and confirm it to you by message or email.
If you only want the messages to stop
You do not have to delete your membership to stop promotional messages. Reply STOP to any WhatsApp message and we stop sending them immediately, while your membership carries on.
Messages already on your phone
Messages we already sent you sit in your own WhatsApp on your phone. We cannot remove those; you can delete them yourself in WhatsApp.
