Which messages we send on WhatsApp, how often, and how to stop them.

Why you hear from us on WhatsApp
When you join Shri Ramdas Vyayam Mandir you give us your mobile number so we can run your membership. We use WhatsApp for the messages that membership needs — and, if you have not opted out, for occasional offers.
What we send
- Payment receipts and invoices.
- Dues and instalment reminders, and payment links.
- Membership expiry and renewal reminders.
- Class, batch timing and gym closure notices.
- Birthday and festival greetings, and occasional offers — these are promotional, and you can stop them.
How to stop messages
Reply STOP to any message from us. Promotional messages stop immediately and permanently. Reply START to turn them back on.
You can also ask any staff member to mark your number as opted out.
How often, and when
We limit how many messages one member can get in a day, and promotional messages are held during quiet hours and sent the next morning. Receipts and payment reminders are sent when they happen.
Who delivers them
Messages are delivered through the WhatsApp Business Platform operated by Meta Platforms, using message templates WhatsApp has approved in advance. Your number and the message content are shared with Meta for delivery only. We do not give your number to any other business for marketing.
Your information
See our Privacy Policy for what we hold and the Data Deletion Instructions to have it removed.
